Privacy Policy

1. A note on accounts: we don't ask who you are

Trader Trainer does not require you to register, and does not ask for your name, email address, or a password. When you first open the App we create an anonymous sign-in on your device so the App can talk to our servers securely. This anonymous identifier is tied to your app installation, not to your real-world identity.

Because of this, most of the information described below is pseudonymous (linked to a random identifier) or technical, rather than information that directly identifies you by name.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you create that stays on your device

Your simulated trades, positions, chart drawings, indicators, watchable settings, and in-app preferences are stored locally on your device (using on-device storage such as a local database, app preferences, and secure storage). This practice data is not uploaded to Trader Trainer's servers. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is generally lost and cannot be recovered by us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect:

• Anonymous identifiers — a randomly generated anonymous user ID and installation/app-integrity tokens used to authenticate requests and prevent abuse.
• Usage and analytics data — interactions with screens and features, session information, and similar engagement events, collected through analytics services.
• Device and technical data — device model, operating system and version, language and region, app version, general (coarse) location inferred from these signals, and network/connectivity status.
• Server log data — when the App requests historical price data from our backend, our servers receive standard request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, and the request made.

2.3 Subscription and purchase information

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by the app store through which you downloaded the App — we never receive your full payment card number. Through the app store and our subscription-management tools we receive information such as which product you purchased, your subscription/entitlement status, and transaction identifiers.

2.4 What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or real financial account information, and the App does not link any real brokerage or bank account.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• provide, operate, and secure the Service (including serving historical price data and verifying that requests come from a genuine app installation);
• remember your in-app settings and practice progress on your device;
• understand how the App is used so we can fix problems and improve features;
• process and validate subscriptions and entitlements; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers / sub-processors who operate parts of the Service on our behalf, including providers for authentication, analytics, app-integrity, and cloud hosting of our backend, our subscription-management tools, and the app store that handles in-app purchase processing and app distribution.
• Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Note: some sharing for analytics may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws. See "Your choices and privacy rights" below.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party SDKs and platforms — including providers for authentication, analytics, app-integrity, and cloud hosting, our subscription-management tools, and the app store — each governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the app store through which you downloaded the App.

Market price data used for training is sourced from third-party data providers during our offline data preparation and is anonymized/obfuscated before it reaches the App; it does not contain your personal information.

6. Data retention

• On-device practice data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Analytics and subscription data are retained by us and our providers for as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by their own retention policies and applicable law.
• Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

• Analytics — you can limit some analytics collection through your device settings; certain analytics needed to operate and secure the App may still be processed.
• Subscriptions — manage or cancel through your app store account settings.
• Deleting your data — because no real-world identity is attached to your anonymous installation, the most direct way to delete on-device data is to uninstall the App or clear its data. To request deletion of any pseudonymous/usage data associated with your installation, contact us at support@zerovectorapps.com.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California and other U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at support@zerovectorapps.com. Because our identifiers are pseudonymous, we may need additional information to locate data associated with your installation, and in some cases we may be unable to identify it.

8. International users

We operate the Service from the United States and use cloud infrastructure that may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@zerovectorapps.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted transport, app-integrity checks, and access controls on our backend — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
